The idea of the Senior Sophisticate originated
when owner, Diane Keefe,
listened to other professionals working with older adults discuss the
fact
that many owners of Personal Response Systems were not wearing them
because they were unattractive. Diane began designing jewelry that
would be acceptable to be worn with the systems so that the wearers
would keep them on.Diane Keefe is a
Geriatric Care Manager with an MA in Gerontology and
owns A+Aging Advantage, a Geriatric Care Management Company.
The core business is assisting older adults to live longer and with a
higher quality of living in their home or facility for as long as
possible.

and administrative matters and acting as a liaison in communicating
to other family matters.
